Overall OK September 10, 2008
This fan is just okay. It is small and needs to be put up on a desk or table. On the floor it won't reach a bed or couch since the tilt will only go up so far. Also, it is very loud (louder than other fans I've owned). My biggest complaint is that it cannot be opened to be cleaned. The blades get very dusty and the front does not pop off to give access for cleaning..kind of disappointing.

I bought one, loved it, bought several more (they come in black and white). Looks great, moves the air - makes a big difference! - and not very noisy except on highest setting. Still is quiet compared to most fans.

This fan shares a similar vortex design as Vornado. However I compared them side by side and it was immediately apparent the Honeywell unit does not measure up.
The Vornado really shoots out a column of air, this Honeywell unit doesn't seem to push air anywhere.

This fan is a little loud for it's compact size, but it really gets the job done. I use it in the computer room and it's finally liveable in here. I'd recommend this fan, as long as a little noise doesn't bother you..
