| Customer Reviews:
Buy batteries September 15, 2008 This is not a bad unit as far as LEDs go.
Pros: 1. Solar charger works well. Mine is only getting 2-3 hours of direct sun (the rest of the day is shady) and the unit will illuminate 6 hours. 2. The light output is what I expected for LED. You do have to point the light directly at the object. 3. Setup is a snap.
Cons: 1. Batteries are terrible. Out of 3 batteries - 1 dead, 1 dying, 1 good. Luckily I've grown to expect this and I buy good batteries when I buy anything solar. I put my batteries in the unit and then test the provided batteries. (This seems to be the case with any manufacturer).
Malibu Solar Lights July 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was a little disappointed due to the fact that the description did not indicate that the three lights in the package all shared the same solar panel and had to be daisy-chained in order to work. While the units work just fine, it was irritating that I was limited in where I could place each one based on the wiring limitation.
In general, I'm still not as satisfied with the brightness of the solar products I have used thus far compared to their low-voltage counterparts.

Product works great. I wish the cords from the lamps to the solar unit where just a little longer.
