We were looking for a filter that can serve water at room temparature and for one that has larger capacity. This one is ideal. The water tastes good too.
 Right size for fridge October 3, 2008
This product provides fresh tasting filtered water and it's compact design allows for easy storage in your fridge. Only drawbacks are that it is somewhat slow to refill due to the filter process and the cost of replacement filters.
Fresh Water September 30, 2008
Having been to the store, filling up water jugs and carting them home has been a chore. Now that I have the dispenser, there is no need to do that. I have fresh water in my fridge ready to go. You have to keep an eye on the filter usage ( 3 months max). The dispenser holds quite a bit of water. I only refill the thing twice a week. worth its weight in gold and value for money

Best Table Top Water Filter September 29, 2008
The very best of the table top designs. Also PUR has 2 grades of filters and their premium filter is the only one certified to eliminate cryptosporidium. The long narrow chamber design also fits easily into a refrigerator where it is intended to stay within it and dispense water without having to awkwardly move a "pitcher" style in, out, and back into the refrigerator. Best for parties and groups of up to 20 people. The only shortcoming is the way the filter protrudes unprotected through the bottom of the upper chamber when the chamber is removed for cleaning (which should be rare). But if one's hands are wet and slippery and the upper tray slips away and crashes to a counter top, the impact leverage against the filter will crack the bottom of the upper tray.
