 Dreadful. Don't buy this. September 30, 2008
I bought this product to replace a 2X magnifying glass my mother was using to help her read and that had too little magnifying power. The supposedly 5X magnifying glass made things no larger than the 2X magnifying glass; nor does the package anywhere state that the product has 5X power. I don't believe it does. I feel cheated and defrauded.

More powerful than one you can purchase in the store. My husband likes it because it has a glass lens, and not plastic.

This magnifying glass is extremely helpful to my 85 yr. old father when he reads his newspapers!! Very easy to handle as well
