 Meal Maker Express September 30, 2008
I love the Meal maker express. I had a previous one that I used for years. This one has removable plates, is easy to wash, and has a timer. It makes cooking a breeze.

I've bought three of these grills over the past several years. The first grill lasted 4 or 5 years and operated like clockwork until it ran out of gas from old age. The second one only lasted a year. I bought a third a few months ago and right from the start, the clip holding the top grill in placed was slipping, causing the top to slip out of alignment when you closed the grill for cooking. Today, the power light went off and I have no heat even with the cord plugged in and thus cannot grill my food today. I have to replace it again. I am extremely annoyed. This used to be a quality product that I told many people about. Not any more. I am buying another brand. No more Hamiltin Beach for me.
Three years later, I'm still grilling & happy August 2, 2008
With the advice of Consumer Reports (CR) I purchased this Hamilton Beach model instead of George Foreman's grills. CR listed this as a best buy and noted that it offered two grilling sizes in one unit, a 60-square-inch surface that works best for hamburgers and chicken breasts and a full 120-square-inch double grill when you open it up. I use the double grill for vegetables (asparagus, green onions, squash).
The plates are removable and easy to clean. I usually just wash them in the sink and wipe them down, skipping the dishwasher, because the nonstick surface works well.
If you are cooking at home to stay healthy and to save money, this grill from Hamilton Beach is a great addition to your kitchen.

I have used this almost every day since i got it.
It is excellant. I cook salmon, cskinless, boneless chicken breast and veggies.
Very delicious.
It is Fast, cooks good, easy to clean.
I am very pleased with the product.

I use this grill almost every day. When I get home from work I can throw a frozen chicken breast or hamburger on the grill - set the timer - and go get changed. By the time I'm finish my dinner is ready. The meat is always juicy and tender and the clean up is soooo easy. I just let it cool off and put the 2 grill plates in my dishwasher. All the juice catches in the little side bucket and my dog loves the juices over his dog food. I've had a George Foreman and it doesn't compare to this little grill. You can open it up and grill for up to 6 people - great for parties! I give this grill 5 stars!
