Now that's a knife ! June 5, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Extremely happy with this versatile multi tool. Bought this as I was starting a new job in the construction field and I'm happy to have it. I use this tool at least a dozen times every day and it still looks brand new! Originally I thought the eyeglass screwdriver was a wasted slot that could have been put to better use, yet I have used that very screwdriver several times and it has prevented costly delays had I had to go search for screwdriver that small. The blades have remained sharp through repeated use and the pliers can be operated easily with one hand. I also like having so many interchangeable screwdriver bits that fit in the nylon sheath without adding additional bulk. My only grip is not with the tool but with the sheath itself. Being nylon, it is prone to "catching" on rough items (concrete, sheet metal edges, etc,) and that causes the sheath to develop a frayed appearance. Also, the metal "Leatherman" emblem that is affixed to the sheath has pulled out several times and is currently being held in place by a modified paper clip wrapped around the metal protruding on the inside cover of the sheath...the paper clip was obviously modified using the Leatherman Charge Ti so it is kind of self repairing. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one of these up, as I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
