hello folks
i bought this light not knowing any thing about it or where is it made but i made some searches about good flashlights with reasonable prices for the flashlight and the batteries i came up with TK40 so i bought it and shipped it over seas .
when i first tried it i was impressed with the amount of light that it gives and every body who sow this light was impressed too then i took it for a field test i went for duck hunting with my friends i sat on one side of a big swamp and my friend sat on the other side he was near 300-400 yards away when it got dark i turned the flashlight to see if he was still there and saw him perfectly he was blind by the light and shouted to move the light away i new then that this light is very powerful i started looking around at knight at the mountains and in the water i was so amazed i used many flash lights such as mags and sure fire they are so expensive and they are no compare for this light this one is the king what i also like to say .
1- this light uses 8 AA batteries i used rechargeable ones and it worked perfect and it worked for long time .
2- the price is 1/3 of the surefire
3- the AA batteries are much cheep and you can find them at any sore and you can use rechargeable or alkaline or any kind you can find and the light will work perfect to the end with out fading or dimming .
4- it is well constructed it fell many times from me and still worked with out complaining
5- this flashlight hase four modes each mode has a strobe and the beam is focused so you can't change it .
this is the good stuff
the only bad thing i notes is that the batteries move inside the light that would make some sound when you are walking but can be resolved with some tape ore a piece of paper and the light is pretty heavy with 8 batteries and it is made in china.. .
other than that this light is perfect and i will buy more of it and would recommend it to any one who is looking for a good flashlight hope this helped you decide what flashlight you want to buy

This is a very nice light. It is well made and is VERY bright. If you are used to a Maglite type light, this will blow you away on its highest setting. The lower power settings are perfectly usable and the high power setting is so bright that you can't look directly into the beam. It isn't quite a handheld spotlight but it is very bright.

I own three other Fenix flashlights costing from $30-$70 and was very happy with the products. After reading all the 5 stars review for this flash light, I decided to get one for myself. I have to say that I am a bit disappointed considering that this flashlight cost approx $135. I am not saying this is a bad flashlight. From the construction and the feel of it, it is a very well made flashlight. I am just saying that this is not what I expected for an expensive flash light. The light was "yellowish" with a small projected area. The intensity of the light drop off quickly even at max output. In term of power, my 6 D cell magna light can outshine this flashlight any time, and it it not limit to 15 mins of beam time due to over heating. For tactical purpose, there are better and smaller and cheaper flashlights where the focus and be adjusted. If you can afford an expensive "toy" for fun in small size, this one will do. But if you are looking for value, don't border with this flashlight.

Great Flashlight my friends were amazed by it. They all wanted one for themselves. I us mine for night walks on dark trail in the woods, oh and when I get a group together for Man hunt... Ohhh the strobe light, they didn't no what to do but to stop running or they'll fall down or trip. Overall a great light for anything.
