Same FIlter, Same Great Taste November 20, 2009
This is the same filter as sold in Lowes or HD but a lot cheaper. I saved a lot of money and could not be happier. It arrived quickly and was a breeze to install. Another great buy from Amazon!

This is the same thing I paid $50 for in the local supply house last time. Free and quick shipping from Amazon. Worked great in my Amana fridge.

Filter has no equal as to its effectiveness, which is well up to almost 100%, purifying water from an incredible
list of toxic chemicals. Filtered water gets way purer that any water you might buy in stores, at very steep price.
However, even with these considerations I feel that its cost is way too high for a water filter that needs to
be replaced every 6 months at the longest, and keeps increasing every time I have to buy a new one.
Amazon's, I must say, is just about the lowest price you may find around.
The fact is nevertheless that this particular filter has no substitutes, and though very expensive, is the only
commercially available one giving you assurance that the water you drink has become as pure as it can be.
Additionally, if you are an Espresso lover like I am, well then you know that to make good espresso, pure and
taste free water is an essential ingredient and there can be no compromise.
