does what is suppose to do.... November 17, 2009 Cedric E. Levye (so cal, ca) sturdy product even for a 250lb man. get the product and treat yourself to a nice workout. They sell these everywhere!
Good, but never use November 13, 2009 Danny Luong (Houston, TX USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's a good device that does its job when it comes to pull ups. Pretty sturdy, easy to put together.
You can supposedly do a lot with this thing, but the only thing I use it for is pull ups, and maybe push ups. I found myself not really using it that often though. It sits in the closet and takes up a bit of space.
I have really mixed opinions about this product. When it comes to structure and design purpose, it does it job well. To me, its a bit expensive for some bars of metal, but I'm not a big spender. I usually just go to the gym and try to get more done there. Some people may not have the time though, so you would really have to decide if this is right for you.
Son swears by this November 11, 2009 April on Orcas (Eastsound, WA United States) I bought this for my son who wants to just have a quick work out during the day. He just hangs it in the bathroom doorway of his studio apartment and is able to do a little exercise in between homework and other activities. It's light and easy to hang and take down and plenty sturdy.
A must buy! November 7, 2009 kinderegg (Belmont, CA) Used to work out in the gym 3-4 times a week. Situationally haven't been to gym. Having the iron gym at home has helped me keep my upper body and abs in shape. At first it might be hard but don't give up. Like any work out routine it takes time to get used to. Once you are comfortable with it then it you'll find yourself using it very regularly. Even if you visit the gym, this product will definitely prove valuable. You do need a decent door frame, if you have one and are thinking of getting this - then go ahead and get it right away!
Not Bad November 5, 2009 Ryan J. Meredith This product isn't too bad. It is really only good for three workouts (they advertise tricep dips as a forth). Various positions of pull ups, push ups and sit ups. Great tool for some complementary work away from the gym and it does not mark up your walls/ door frame.
