These quick connectors are easy to use and have not leaked. The connectors allow me to easily detach a hose and place it out of sight and out of foot traffic paths.

I use this for my Mr clean auto dry system, which is kinda annoying having to screw on and off the hose. So i needed free shipping, and had to spend like 5 bucks and found this little gem. PERFECT! You can add quick connect to all your peripherals, which I probably will in the future. One less step to prevent me from washing the cars now!

I've tried more, different kinds of hose quick-connectors than I care to count, starting with the plastic Gardena models that have a very small opening for water. A lot of these connectors look like they'll be reliable, but they're made cheaply and start to jam after a short time. Not this Nelson series, which I have also seen sold as Suncast. Heavy, solid brass and smooth-working release mechanism combine to provide an easy to use and reliable connection. I bought a bunch more of these and threw away the junky others I had.

We love these quick connects for our hoses. Being brass, they last a long time, especially in our hard water. Also saves time switching out sprinkler heads to our many hoses. The only thing we wish is that you could buy the 'female' end in a single package like they have for the 'male' end. I had to buy 4 extra sets of these just to get the 'female' ends.

All brass except for the rubber inside for leak stopping and it works. It is so handy to have the larger section attached to the hose bib (use Teflon tape first to make sure it is watertight) and attach the smaller segment to the hose (more Teflon) and we are ready to attach the two pieces with super ease and practicality. When the water use has been completed it is simple enough to disconnect the two brass pieces and wind the hose while leaving the larger piece attached to the hose bib. The next time it is water time a simple connection of the two brass pieces accomplishes a quite simple matter. I was a tad disappointed about getting the set with several deep scratches on the threads. They did not make a difference now but I wonder what will happen next year or beyond. They should be more careful when packaging and sending. Otherwise, the bottom line is: I'd buy it again and in fact I'll probably buy one for the front bib later. It is a tad pricey but hey it is brass.
