Unfortunately, like some other customers, I ended up with a disappointment and did not get what was pictured. My tree only has three curves, unlike the photo, which shows four. There are only scant leaves on mine and the growth is no where near what is pictured. Though the description is a plant which is 10 to 12 inches tall, mine is only 8 inches tall. There were no "exposed roots" as described in the company's text. Also, mine has a dead branch on it, so it looks like it hasn't been pruned. Not a good value for the money. I got this as a gift, and the box had no markings on it whatsoever, so I was not warned to open on receipt. It was very dry when I did open the box 24 hours after it arrived. I would not recommend purchasing from this seller.

This elm is very nice for the price. The way they packed it kept it very safe. However the leaves were not formed nearly as well as the one in the picture. It looked nothing like the picture actually.

Great tree. It arrived in about two days from the nursery and was so well packed that it took me about a half hour to get it out of the box. The tree looked different than the one pictured but not by much. It was ordered knowing that all bonsai's are a work in progress. The tree's soil was wet upon arrival and developed a fine fuzz after a couple of days. I called Lou who gave clear instructions and was great to work with. After following his instructions the fuzz disappeared. About the specimen it's self: The leaves are very small and it's trunk has been cut at the apex (tip/top). It is in a rectangular pot as long and 1 1/2 as wide as my hand that is glazed dark blue mixed with little brown. There is no humidity trey included. The tree "has personality" and is welcome member to my home. All in all I would recommend the seller to others and would make note that no bonsai is perfect.

I am very new to Bonsai Trees and I planned on getting this as a Christmas gift for a family member. I ordered it two days ago expecting it may take a week or so.. When I got home today to my surprise it was here and EXTREMELY well wrapped and it even came with instructions on proper maintenance for it.. It does not look like the one pictured however it is beautiful!! I think my family member is going to love this and Im even thinking of buying others for my other family members.. Keep in mind after reading all the maintenance that it will need to be cared for daily and need to have plenty of light etc etc, but for how beautiful this plant is it is definitely worth it.
