Best 3-prong extension cord October 2, 2009 Jeff (Phoenix, AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Weird to write a review for an extension cord, but I have bought many of these and love them for the main reason that most 3-prong extensions are thick and heavy, which sometimes limits their use. This is very thin and light, even a tiny bit moreso than a 2-prong extenstion, yet handles 3 prongs. Very happy with it.
flatplug extension cord August 22, 2009 Jan Carol (wv) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I needed to be able to use the receptacle that was half covered by my stove for can opener, blender, etc; so this flat plug cord is perfect, because the depth of a regular plug would make my stove sit out further from the wall. I'm very pleased with the quality of this cord. I have other flat plug cords, but this cord is nicer.
All products should come with cords this thin! May 19, 2009 Hubba Bubba (Brooklyn, OH) Exactly what we were looking for. We purchased an electric fireplace that came with a cord that stuck out a good 3 inches. This caused the unit to not sit flush against the wall and it looked out of place. This sits perfectly flush with the baseboards. Seems to be high quality also.
I would recommend this product for anyone that needs a cord to sit flush against the wall.
great flat plug - but wish it was rated 15 amp, not 13. April 25, 2009 Dennis J. Faulkner (Lakeside, CA United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a nice 3 wire flat plug extension cord - since this is in an area off my bathroom sink, it is necessary to have a flat plug that will not be accidentally bumped. As this is a location near water, I have this plugged into a GFI outlet for safety. The quality seems good , however I hate the cheapening of todays electrical cords - used to be 15 amp was standard for extension cords, now it is 13 amp. Since the average circuit breaker in a home is 15 amp, I feel that this is penny wise and pound foolish. How much money does this slightly thinner wire save, as compared to a standard old 15 amp extension cord?
Excellent Product April 21, 2009 Mona Freeman (Visalia, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Great extension cord since it is a flat plug which enables you to place furniture close to the wall. It also has a metal pull ring making it easy to remove the plug from the wall.
