With a 7.5 Amp motor, you'll clean snow off your yard quickly. View larger. | Fast, Effective Snow Removal with the Power Curve System Avoid sore backs caused by shoveling and time wasted taking care of huge, complicated snow blowers. This compact electric shovel employs a streamlined auger drive system, which uses a single rotor with two curved blades to quickly and effectively move snow out of your way. With a snow-throwing capacity of 300 pounds per minute, you can clear four inches of snow off a 50-by-20-foot driveway in just 20 minutes. With a clearing width of 12 inches and a snow cut depth of six inches per pass, this Power Shovel will let you clean off walkways with a couple quick passes. And weighing in at just 13 pounds, this snow thrower can be lifted, turned, and twisted with ease. Compact and Easy to Maintain with Electric Power With no gas or oil to burn through, no spark plugs to change, and no time-consuming tune-ups, this electric snow thrower is a cost-effective, eco-friendly option. Its ultra-compact size makes it easier to maneuver than big, gas-powered units, and it's easier to store, too. Exceptional ease of handling makes the small, versatile Toro Power Shovel ideal for spaces like balconies, decks, and staircases. When you do want to clear a larger area, you'll appreciate the surprisingly powerful nature of this lightweight machine. It features a series-wound 7.5 Amp motor, which is designed to produce high torque at lower speeds, making it a perfect choice for snow-throwing. The cord lock system eliminates one of the potential downfalls of using electric products by ensuring your extension cord is reliably locked in place. And with electric power, this snow thrower is easy to start up, even on the coldest days, so you'll never have to worry about the frustration of dealing with a pull cord.
The shovel has an adjustable handle. | Adjustable, Ergonomic Features to Keep You Comfortable A telescoping handle lets you adjust this snow thrower to fit your height. The height and angle of the operating handle are adjustable too, so you can truly customize the way this tool fits in your hands. This snow thrower is backed by a full two-year warranty. cost problem November 20, 2009 Roger M. Carter (Athol, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have nothing against the product, but do have a gripe against Amazon.
I paid $104 dollars for it and 2 weeks later, Amazon had it reduced to $84.
I requested that they credit me for the difference but to no avail.
I was told that it was my loss. That they have no guarantees.
DisGruntled, from Athol MA

The purchased Toro snow shovel cost me a total of $114.99 from Amazon! I could have bought the identical model for $79.99 from the local Target store. That would have made a difference of $35.00 on this single item. Guess a person needs to be more hesitant and careful before ordering things from Amazon. I know I will from now on! (Bet this review never sees the light of day!) Sincerely, Paul in Minnesota Deep In Snow
Works as advertised November 12, 2009 JM (Michigan) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this snowblower at the end of last winter and only used it a couple of times. I only use it to clear a sidewalk maybe 25 feet long.
Compared to shoveling it is somewhat faster and requires less effort but it's not completely effortless. I found that in a deep snow I still need to bend down to hold it with both hands like a shovel but it eliminates the lifting and throwing motion so my back was not hurting as much. It only throws the snow forward so you have to watch where it's pointed. If the snow cover is light (2-3 inches) it can be maneuvered with one hand only which is more comfortable. In retrospect I probably should have gotten the electric snowblower instead- it wasn't much more expensive and it would be more comfortable to use.

Best to you, Tuora. Sorry that you don't like the shovel. Or me.
PS - Regarding whether Amazon pays me....They don't. I do my reviews just for fun. :-)

Your fun costs people real money, Sky. Obviously you are a vulture praying upon Amazon domain for your fun.
One way or the other, the good Amazon needs to know the lice like you infecting otherwise efficient Amazon. Be sure I will find way to communicate and have you fumigated
great little snow blower November 1, 2009 F. Haeffner (Denver, CO United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Like some of the other reviewers this blower's major flaw is the lack of a directional option. The snow is blown quite a distance straight ahead so one has to think about where the snow is going to end up. It handled wet thick snow very well but only up to about 4-5" in depth. I had some drifts and simply held it so that it skimmed off the top 6" and then pushed it through to throw the rest of the 6" of snow. I thought that holding the 13 pound device to accomplish this was about the same as shoveling a equivalent amount of snow and throwing it aside. It has a nice edge at the bottom that allows the blower to get down to bare concrete. Overall a very nice machine, adequate for small jobs. My wife used it and felt it was much easier than shoveling. I would have rated it 5 star except for the lack of directional fins. I used a standard outdoor extension cord with no issues, and a couple of times hit a loose stick and the blades simply stopped with no damage.
