In using this device for measuring room sizes and square footage of homes and buildings for real estate sales, it has been excellent. When the device makes a measurement, it makes a clicking noise so you know that it has registered a measurement.
Very functional device, small in size makes it easy to store and travel.

Straight forward operation, accuracy is good. It struggles in daylight but usually works in shadowed areas. Its my first laser range finder and it definitely saves me time because of its ease of use.

I've had this tool for about a month; I use it for field measuring existing buildings. I have double checked the accuracy and it is very accurate (demonstrating this to a Leasing Agent showed that a wall was out of plumb). There are two things that I can think of that would make this an awesome tool. One...make the sides completely flat and square to the bottom so it can be rested on a wall and have the laser shoot down the length. It appears that the sides taper in slightly towrd the front of the unit, so when I measure from an outside corner of a wall I have to "bring the nose out" a little. Secondly, as others have said, add a mode for inches only. Other than these small items, this is a great little tool. Best value for the money!
