Purchased as extra part, so hasn't been used yet. But it looks like it will do the job and is much less expensive than a Sears part. The bolt holes are tapped and it has three new non-self-threading bolts with lock washers, which is different from the Sears Mandrels I've been buying.

I smashed up the deck on my Craftsman DT3000 and was afraid I'd need a new mower. But was pleasantly surprised at the fairly cheap fix, which was this spindle replacement. Not nearly as difficult to replace as I thought it would be and it works great. Very fast shipping, too!
