Leaks like a sieve after 2 weeks and no help from Kohler November 19, 2009 DIY Guy (Maryland) Feels cheap (pull out part is very lightweight plastic) and started leaking up top right after we installed. Kohler customer service wouldn't even bother to respond with a corporate form letter to my complaint, so now I need to warn all of you to avoid this faucet like the plague. For $200 a faucet ought to be a lot better than this one and so if you buy it do so at your own risk. I've bought any number of plumbing fixtures in the past year for upgrades and renovation projects around the house and this thing was the easily the worst quality and apparently Kohler doesn't care about the individual consumer who wastes their time and money on this product. PLEASE! I beg you- save yourself a lot of frustration and disappointment - don't buy the Kohler Forte K-10433-VS.
contemporary, stylish and simple October 5, 2009 colo native (colorado) I finally purchased this faucet after a couple of weeks of researching pull out faucets on the net and in the stores. So far very happy with it. I put it in my newly remodeled kitchen on a quartz countertop. I liked that it was so contemporary and somewhat simple looking. If ordering it online - keep in mind it is one of the taller pull out faucets available - which as previous comments state - makes it nice for filling large pots. My friend who installed it said it was a very easy install. I have not noticed a lot of splash back as other comments have mentioned - because this faucet is super easy to decrease or increase water flow. I narrowed my choices down to the Kohler, a Danze and a Hansgroehe and chose the Kohler. [...].
Looks Nice, but this product is not up to Kohler standards September 26, 2009 Keith (LA) I am an experienced general contractor and put 100% Kohler Forte plumbing fixtures, Kohler tub, sink, shower, etc in my own home. This is the only Kohler product I am not happy with. When new it seemed to work great. With age (1year) the Pull Out faucet won't go all the way back in and the plastic seems to be holding it out leaving a 1/16 gap. I have checked and there is no build up or other obstruction other than the original poor design. Not going all the way back in means it may not seat pointed down causing water to stream in any direction the pull out happens to pointed. It is not family proof! I will be replacing it with something else, maybe not Kohler this time.
Koehler K-10433 faucet September 16, 2009 D. Cressman (Tacoma, WA, USA) Excellent faucet with a great price on Amazon. Instructions are easy and clear. It can be installed on a single hole sink, but it also includes the chrome base plate in case you are replacing a three hole faucet. You will need a small jar or tube of plumber's putty. I replaced a 14 year old Moen three hole faucet with this very impressive looking faucet. I like the height of the neck ... we can get large pots under it ... and the hose is great for rinsing. Easy to use buttons switch from stream to spray mode. I had this faucet installed in under two hours, including removing the old faucet. Actually, taking off the old pipes, removing the old faucet and cleaning up the area in preparation for the new install took most of the time. Of course, getting in under the sink is always a chore!!
Kitchen Faucet September 15, 2009 D. Jelvik (Tucson, AZ) Good faucet. Not sure if its the new sink (deep cast iron) or the faucet, it seems to spray more outside of the sink. I think its the height of the faucet. This faucet sits high. Like the button to switch spray, last one I had was on top and harder to switch. Pull out is nice and smooth. Sits in the craddle with ease. Haven't been installed long so not sure of durablity over time yet.
