I had orginally ordered a complete replacement kit made by a company other than Moen. What I received was top quality and should have been for the $350 it cost. Unfortunately, when I opened it I realized that installing a different brand unit would require cutting a hole in the back wall of my shower and sweating on all new fittings. Since my shower worked fine and I'd replaced the shower cartride recently, it didn't make sense to spend the time and money to change everything. The problem was, I couldn't find a direct replacement shower trim kit in oil rubbed bronze finish and the 23-year-old chrome one had to go. I went directly to Danco and they didn't have one except in brushed nickel finish. I found the exact model of my shower fixtures (Moen Chateau) and searched the web for a bronze trim kit. Amazon found one for me. I had it in a few days and it fit's perfectly. I spent 5 minutes installing it and for under $50 I have what I wanted and a happy wife.
