Product Description The Grundfos UP15-10SU7P/TLC Comfort Series 1/25 HP Recirculator Pump is a Comfort Series Instant Hot Water System. Includes timer and line cord. Grundfos Pumps is proud to bring the comfort and savings of hot water recirculation to the existing homes market with the Comfort Series Instant Hot Water System. The Comfort System includes a Grundfos UP15-10SU7/TLC circulator and the revolutionary Comfort Valve. The stainless steel circulator, complete with timer and 10-foot power cord, is installed directly to the hot water discharge on the water heater. The Comfort Valve is installed under the sink at the fixture furthest from the water heater, and the system uses the existing cold water line to return hot water to the water heater. The Grundfos circulator pumps, Series UP, are specifically designed for heating systems. The pumps are also suitable for circulation of hot domestic water and for circulation of liquid in cooling and air-conditioning systems.SPECIFICATIONS - Grundfos UP15-10SU7P/TLC Comfort Series 1/25 HP Recirculator Pump:; Flow range: 0 - 6.5 U.S. GPM; Head range: 0 - 6 FEET; Motors: Single Phase, 115 Volts; Maximum fluid temperature: 150;F (66;C); Minimum fluid temperature: 36;F (2;C); Maximum working pressure: 145 PSI; Connection: 3/4-inch M X 3/4-inch FNPT; TLC = Timer, Line CordCONSTRUCTION - Grundfos UP15-10SU7P/TLC Comfort Series 1/25 HP Recirculator Pump:; Stator Housing - Aluminum; Spherical Seperator - Stainless Steel; Rotor Can Complete - Stainless Steel/Tungsten Carbide; Rotor, Impeller - Stainless Steel, EPDM, PRO, PFTE, Graphite; Pump Housing - Brass MS 58; Isolation valve - PPO; Stainless Steel; Terminal Box Cover, Motor Cover- Pa66/6; Light - Lexan; Cable, Cable Relief - PVC; Insulating Cover - EPP 55; Orings - EPDM; Check Valve - POMMOTOR - Grundfos UP15-10SU7P/TLC Comfort Series 1/25 HP Recirculator Pump:; Insulation class: F; Power consumption: 25W; Voltage: 115V; Phase: 1FEATURES and BENEFITS - Grundfos UP15-10SU7P/TLC Comfort Series 1/

| Customer Reviews: About the supplier, not the pump April 5, 2009 iShrink (LV) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We now have recirculating hot water at home, no thanks to PlumbersSupply.
4 months ago I went here as the source for the Grund-fos pump. PlumbersSurplus had a unique product number. I enquired through its well designed site to find out what this number included, since the price of the pump alone was less. Bad response - "check with manufacturer"-this was the first problem.
On closer read, this product number included a thermostat. I ordered it- it came without the thermostat. 4 email exchanges, called-on hold for 55 minutes, then in live chat I was finally told I would have to send the perfectly good pump back to get the complete deal. I did, delays, backorders. The same thing happened. Multiple efforts lead no where. Now they want me to return it again, denying they advertise the thermostat. GRRrrrr. The sales arm disconnects from the warehouse; marketing makes promises the supplier does not fulfill. Find your supplies elsewhere. BAD SERVICE. JUST SEND ME MY THERMOSTAT!
Unfortunately, Plumbers Surplus is ubiquitous on the web, and has the widest selection of the Grundfos pumps. I was left with few options other than to try and try, bump the problem up to someone with the authority to override "policy," but even then...boy, this company must have some rigid structure behind it. No one checked with the site to see it clearly includes the thermo.. no one could just send me a missing part, or send me back the 8 bucks (price difference between the UP15-18B7, and their product UP15-18B7/A w/ the thermostat), everyone nice, but acting like Stepford wives. Shiver.
Long term review!! April 1, 2009 HVAC man (Chicago, IL USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have installed a total of four of these systems for family and friends. One on my own home over 5 years ago, two on our friend's houses more than 3 years ago and one on my parents house over 4 years ago. We all have had absolutely no problems. The cold water does start out warm, but quickly becomes cold. The timer works flawless, just set it to turn on about a half hour before you normally wake up or get home. Four out of four love our systems here. Grundfos is known for there quality. We use there pumps in the field all the time with very minimal problems. Make sure you know what you're doing or the person who's installing the product know's what they're doing. Highly recommended.
2 failed pumps, worthless manufacturer warranty December 29, 2008 socalblue (San Diego, CA USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Unreliable product (this would get zero stars, if such a rating were possible). The first pump had to be replaced 1 month after install due to a faulty switch. The replacement pump failed completely after 2 years + 3 weeks. Grundfos first said a 30 month warranty would apply, then gave us the run-around for several weeks and changed their mind to say it was a 24 month warranty (so we were "just over"). They ignored a letter requesting support, and ended with a "courtesy call" offering to provide contact information for a distributor who would be glad to sell us a *new* pump. No way!! Grundfos is a big international company, but after this experience one wonders if they still deserve to be. We will never waste money buying this brand again, especially considering the install cost can equal or exceed the hardware cost for this type of pump.
Not a good choice for a Guest Bath July 28, 2008 S. Fox (USA) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
My plumber installed a Grundfos comfort system ( pipe and valve) for a guest bath, meaning I had hoped to use the timer on the pump and not have the pump on 24hours a day 7 days a week, but rather on only when I had guests and other wise the pump would be would be off. Turns out my situation is not a good fit for this system's characteristics. Using it the way I hoped to I have ALOT of hot water in the cold supply when the pump is off. When the warm supply is cool to cold the Comfort Valve is Wide open (ie a gallon or so a minute flow) and puts way too much hot water in the cold water supply, for the faucet where it is installed and critically other nearby faucets, which suffer from back flow as well . So now rather than wait for the hot water supply to deliver warm water .We have to wait for the cold water supply to supply cold on nearby faucets. The product reference material from GRUNDFOS doesn't point this out, if it had I would have done something different. My Plumber and I both spoke to Grunfos tech support on this one. THUMBS DOWN to Grundfos for not identifying situations where this system is not a fit.
