This is the only stip I've used that really does work for both block and standard connectors while allowing full access to every port. I even have two of those stupid sideways blocks on there, which fit in just fine at the bottom, above the phone ports. Great product!

I absolutely love the adapter friendly design of this surge protector. I use it for my PC, and every single power cord in that general area passes through this thing. Connected are the PC, the monitor, the printer, the speakers, the cordless phone, the force feedback joystick, the router, the DSL modem, and a bluetooth charger. So I am using most of the slots, and have yet to encounter any issues. Thankfully my house hasn't been struck by lightning yet, but having this between my PC and the power outlet is a definite peace of mind.
But honestly, it's the design that takes the cake. I can fit up to 6 large adapters with absolutely no problem (and you probably have plenty of those around a PC). On other surge protectors, adapters would take up 2 or even 3 spots. Not with with one. So far it has performed great, and I highly recommend it.

This power strip is the best one I could find that has the ethernet surge protection and high enough surge ratings to be worth installing. Screw hole slots on back of device are a little small, but you can use them.

When my new HDTV arrived, I realized I had forgotten to order a new surge protector. So I ran to Best Buy and purchased a crappy, overpriced Monster "home theatre" surge protector. After paying almost $40 for the stupid thing, I got home only to find that not only could I not fit all of my plugs into the narrow row of outlets, but the surge capacity was much too low for my beloved new big screen. I immediately went to Amazon.com and purchased this Belkin, like I should have done from the beginning. And it's perfect: wide-spaced outlets for wider plugs means you can use *ALL* 12 outlets (even with big, fat A/C adapters plugged in!); a 10' cord so you can run it to where you need it; low-profile, right angle plug means it will fit behind furniture easily, and plenty of joules to feel safe with. It's perfect! I returned the Monster, saved $15, and got a much superior product.
