Product Description Telescoping Plastic Carrying & Storage Tubes - these tubes have a 3in inside diameter and unique design that permits telescoping from fully closed 27in length to fully extended 48 1/2in length. With the new twist-off screw cap, a simple clockwise quarter-turn locks the tube at the desired length. Tubes are designed for anything that can be rolled. Perfect for protecting charts, maps, blueprints, posters, etc. against creases, bends, tears and folds. Fully adjustable shoulder strap provides convenient portability. Strap and mounting can be removed for storage. Black only SuppliesNet item (TS2)

| Customer Reviews: Nice tube October 22, 2009 Kyle (Wisconsin) This tube is durable, the telescoping feature is nice to allow compact storage, the wide diameter allows for multiple posters to be carried together. The one downside is the strap, even when adjusted, seems a little short when the tube is fully extended.
Yes, it is that long. May 18, 2009 J. Bailey (Kentucky) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Finally, a document tube that is actually long enough to hold our 48"x48" posters. I have purchased others that claimed to extend to 48" but this is the first one that actually does!
Flimsy but functional. January 21, 2009 GradStudent 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Not quite as sturdy as I had hoped. I would definitely NOT check this on an airplane, only carry on. It sorta locks at a particular length if you twist it a little (twist it a little more or push really hard and it unlocks), but it feels a bit like you're breaking things, and I'd suspect over time this will wear out. All in all, if you just need a shoulder strap to carry your poster and maybe some light protection against bumping into things (as I do), then this works fine.
Telescoping Tube December 12, 2007 E. Wheeler 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have two other brands of telescoping tubes that lock into place. My fear with this product is that my posters might get crushed because it does not lock into place. Other than that concern, this is a nice product.
