Product Description
Milwaukee's Heavy-Duty Coil Roofing Nailer features an ultra lightweight magnesium housing to minimize fatigue. Its compact size offers greater maneuverability. The Load-N-Go magazine holds 120 galvanized wire collated nails from 3/4 in. to 1-3/4 in. length and .120 in. diameter. A magnet holds the nail in place making loading fast and efficient. The thick rubber guards minimize housing damage. The tool-free depth of drive protects from overdriving nails. The self-cleaning air filter extends life by preventing dirt and debris from entering the tool. The adjustable air deflector with muffler directs exhaust away from the work area and holds down the noise. The textured selectable trigger lets you move from sequential or contact actuation by simply turning a knob. A removable shingle guide assists in quick shingle alignment.

Amazon.com Review
This coil roofing nailer is one of seven new heavy-duty air-powered nailers from the venerable Milwaukee, and the whole series is another testament to the red label's unflagging quality.

At the top of our list is how incredibly light Milwaukee's nailers are, even fully loaded, and their compact size makes them a cinch to tote and use, especially in awkward positions. But a close second is the clever inclusion of a magnet that holds onto the nails as you're loading and significantly speeds up the process, reducing fumbling and dropped fasteners. Another big tip of the hat to Milwaukee for incorporating both sequential and bump firing modes, accessible just by turning a knob, so when speed is a need, you're ready to go, but precision is at your fingertips too. We like the quality built into this tool, from the magnesium housing to the rugged rubber bumper guard that protects your investment should the tool take a fall. The hassle-free replaceable nosepiece has hard-wearing carbide inserts, and there's even a self-cleaning air filter in the tool handle, keeping dust and dirt out of the tool's workings - and that means longer tool life. The shingle guide is a handy touch, and we like that it's easily removed when it's not needed.

In hand, this nailer feels great: light, comfortable, agile, and beautifully balanced. Loading fasteners is a breeze, depth adjustment is on-the-mark reliable, tool-free, fast and easy, and we couldn't get the thing to jam. Roofers and contractors will love this nailer. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

5 out of 5 stars Milwaukee Coil Roofing Nailer   November 21, 2009
Steven A. Delano (Mass. USA)
I am a professional but I only do a couple of roofs a year, I do mostly windows, doors and sidewalling. I went to do a roof and my trusty Porter Cable nailer was broken. It would take a couple days for the parts to come in so I went online to Amazon and saw the Milwaukee nailer. I ordered one with overnight shipping and it came to under $200.00. There was no way I could get one at Lowe's of Home Depot for that kind of price. Put the fittings on and went right to work with it. Feel was good as far as weight, no jams worked well with 1 1/4" nails and worked well with 1 3/4" ridge vent nails. I would recommend this nailer to anyone who needs a new roofing nailer. If the price stays the same you just can't beat it.

This nailer worked great. Did my whole roof without skipping a beat. It seems very well built and I'm sure it will last a long time. Now I just have to find other projects for it.

5 out of 5 stars Great Nail gun   September 20, 2009
ORION (USA)
Just did my roof with it ...Had to buy the adapter for the coupler but no big deal..
Not a single jam ,on the speed bump 3 tap setting nails went in a little deeper than I wanted even when setting back the depth may have been air tank settings though can't say but had no problem using single shot depth gauge which I prefered anyway and worked great...The best part was how easy it was to change the roll of nails hit the release tab pop open the spool cover drop in the nails feed the first one in and close the door and the tab... Lock and Load like a belt feed machine gun ...just made my roofing job fly by and I did a 6 nail pattern on GAF arch. lifetime shingles with single shot easy, light, simple a dream nail gun and I never did a roof job before... saved me time and money did my roof for 2200.00.Contractor wanteed 3700.00 not including water damage or changed boards which it needed and would have been 5k in total. The gun saved me serous time and money...I'll never sell it, I oiled it every night and in 6 days finished my roof at 1000 sq,ft Had to change boards and deal with other stuff as we all do but when came time to shingle 1 side done each day with this gun basically 2 day nail job and that was taken my time.
It is usually 3 nails and roughly 325 nails a square if I remember correctly and I did 650 nails a square Gaf states a 4 pattern or six, I went with six had a 6/12 slope and I'm on the water to boot.THE GUN IS SIMPLY AWESOME TO USE AND WORKED EVERY DAY...Would I buy another yes and sell it for double on ebay you bet...If you are a new do it yourself type this is your gun you just can't go wrong on this deal.
