Product Description This atomic weather clock tells you the outside temperature when you wake in the morning, before you've even gotten out of bed! The atomic thermometer clock also displays the indoor temperature as well as relative humidity and hours, minutes and seconds on the large clear digital screen. The atomic alarm clock receives outdoor temperature information from a remote transmitter that may be placed up to eighty feet away from the unit (outside). For added convenience, the atomic clock has a projection feature that displays time and temperature on the ceiling or wall. This projection alarm clock is made of plastic with a modern silver finish. Assembly level/degree of difficulty: No Assembly Required.

Projection Works Well, Rest of Features Not So Much November 17, 2009 David S. Stewart (New York, NY United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this clock for the projection, which works fine. The rest of the clock features are amazingly poorly designed. The buttons are finicky and feel cheap. The base is too small and ill-formed to support the clock well making the clock prone to tipping over. This becomes especially annoying when you try to hit the snooze button (on the top of the unit) only to have the clock flip over forward without engaging the snooze. The other big flaw is that the LCD is largely unreadable in anything other than direct light. This means at night you only have the projection to see what time it is and in the daytime it is often too dark to see the LCD but too bright to see the projection, rendering the clock useless.
A bit disappointed! November 3, 2009 Lorrie (Great Falls, MT) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had another clock with remote temperature and loved it. I had problems with the remote no longer working so thought I was purchasing similar clock. The new one is very plastic like, with the controls stiff and harder to operate. It only has one alarm, I thought it had two (my mistake). Works okay, but still disappointed. Wish I had stepped up and spent a few more $$ for the next level up.
Awesome idea November 1, 2009 Harvard Illiana (Cambridge, MA United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this alarm clock. Whenever I wake up too early all I have to do is peek open an eye to see if it's time to get up yet. You can also orient the time display on the ceiling in different directions which is quite useful, I think. It automatically sets itself to atomic time at night and the temperature feature is nice because it lets you know how to dress for the morning!
Will freak you out, then starts working.... Excellent October 30, 2009 Binish Mathew (Newark, DE) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I haven't started using it as the setup really freaked me out. I tried and tried and tried and the Projection was not steady. i have to press any button to get the projection working.
The manual supplied with the clock is different from one which is published in the website. One says first activate the transmitter, other says the clock.
The AC/DC adapter was little tricky to get plugged into the clock, as the plug point was ar inside.
Overall this is a good clock, especially as it displays the outside temperature. Helps me to be prepared for the outside, no need to get back inside home to get the gears.
I will prefer it for everyone...
Disappointed October 28, 2009 K. Hiller (Ashland, OH) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was looking for a replacement clock as the projection on my original alarm clock with projection died. This La Crosse is not near as good. Unfortunately, I could not find one like my original one. The temperature doesn't do me much good as it is always off by several degrees plus it is aggravating waiting to see the time when it is showing temperature. The clock does not set itself like it advertising and it is quite frustrating setting it. You definitely have to read the directions to figure it out! I am now using two alarm clocks as I like my old one as I can also see the time on it regularly day or night very easily where the projection is the only decent way to see the time on this clock. The actual clock display is horrible during the day and only possible at night, if you press the button on top. It also has no stability and falls over with the slightest bump.
