Just got this unit and it's probably only good as a paper weight. I'm so mad. Driving 1" brads into pine and the striker is slipping off the brads every time. Sometimes driving the brads in and sometimes leaving half the brad driven in. Beware!!

Given the price this is was a good deal. If you plan on buying this to do just a few jobs it's probably the way to go. If you are looking for a nail gun to use for 10+ years with frequent use, I would look for a better gun. I've had several jams, and brads that only get half way inserted. I've always been able to fix the issue and finish the project, but it is a pain and it does slow you down.
The other issue I've found is that brads of other brands do not always work that well. My local home improvement store only sells 18 gauge brads by another brand. Some sizes work but have frequent problems, some sizes do not work at all. I drive out of my way to a store further away just to by Stanley-Bostitch brads. They give me fewer problems.

I guess I missed the details. I expected to plug in the battery to charge it up somewhere and it turns out that I need an air compressor. Not sure, yet, what I'm going to do. Does Amazon sell air compressors to go with this item?

Received in a timely manner. However, would much rather have had the nails in the same package. Needed to wait a couple of days for second package to arrive before I could use it.
I was redecorating and adding molding around windows. Without the nailer it would have taken hours to finish instead of minutes.
The description of the product did not specify the use of an air compressor. Luckily my son has one and I have since purchased my own.
All in all a favorable experience.

Last week I ordered this brad nailer to take the place of my Bostitch combo nailer/stapler. I have no problem ordering refurbished tools when they come from a company like Bostitch. So much to my surprise when my package came from Amazon last Friday and I opened the package and found the reconditioned nailer no so "reconditioned"...It looked like it had been dropped before it was put into the carrying case as the head which houses the piston assembly was cracked. There was also cross-hatch marks on the sides of the gun where it had been put into a vise to be worked on and was cranked on too hard. I contacted Amazon and explained the situation to the gentleman and he was kind enough to send out another nailer to me with a return shipping label at no cost. I received the new nailer in ONE DAY!! Nice touch, guys. UPS picked up the 1st nailer and took it away. If I have any other issues with the gun I will update my feedback. I own 5 other Bostitch nailers, and they all work perfectly.
