 Very quiet and got our saltwater fish from Califonia to Colorado! November 22, 2009

We bought this as we moved states and had to (at least try to) take our five saltwater fish with us. We needed to power two air pumps to get air to them during the 20 hour trip. This inverter worked like a champ. The pumps didn't take a lot of amps, but it still worked great and the fan noise was minimal. Couldn't hear it over road noise.

I have to give it to this little guy, he was able to power both my laptop an older dell and my wifes new dell studio 17 with out any problems it made the 10 drive to Vegas a breeze[as far as entertainment went]. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

I ordered this product from Amazon and it arrived on time. This inverter plugs into the cigarette lighter and the insert is adjustable so it will fit any size lighter. When it is plugged in, the fan starts to run, which is almost silent.
The main reason I bought this product was to replace those expensive cell phone chargers that never work whenever you change phones. I also use it whenever I have my laptop with me. So far it works great for both and I would highly recommend this product. Works as advertised!

Item looks as given in amazon site. It works fine with notebook charging and other of general appliances. I tried charging two types of laptops - Compaq Pesario and Thinkpad T61. Only problem I see (rather hear) is sound of cooling fan inside this inverter which is high and even dominates your car AC fan at max. Point to tell here is I used in my 2007 Accord v6.
Hint: Check your car power system specs before you buy this product. Checking this helps you to buy a right product.
