Product Description A great little workhorse at an incredible price! This is a great machine for sanders, router tables, shapers and other work. It's also very portable, so you can take it to the job site where it can handle the big jobs a regular shop vacuum can't handle.

great from my small shop October 2, 2009 Elizabeth Landry 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had this for several months now and it has worked really well. I use one tool at a time, but I think thats all its rated to handle. It's nice and quiet and has pretty good pull even though I am running it through 18 feet of hose to my jointer and tablesaw. I also use it to vacuum the floor through over 20ft of 2 1/2 inch hose and it works fantastic. I have filled the bag about 10 times and have had no problems with it. It seems well built with quality components. My only gripe is that I often have to clear jams of shavings from the inlet grate when I mill anything wider than 3 inches on my jointer. I plan on getting an inline trash can collector to remedy that. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a dust collector for your personal shop without hesitation. I hated dust in my shop and held out too long. It has lived up to the good reviews so I wanted to add one of my own.
Motor burned out July 20, 2008 Peter Hogarth (Pittsboro, NC United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Motor shorted out within well under one hour running time. Mine had sat unused for a long time and so was out of warranty. Cost of replacement motor, with shipping and gear puller: $200. Cost of complete new unit, including motor freight: $196.45. Since the G8027 is well designed, works well apart from the bad motor, and is killer priced, I will probably get a complete new unit of the same kind, hopefully mine was a fluke.
Can't be beat for the price December 29, 2007 24/7 woodworker (Pennsylvania) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I've had this for 5 years now and not one problem. It is relatively quiet and the band clamps are very easy to use to release the bags. I recommend you get the 1 micron bags instead of the 30 micron that is supplied by grizzly. I've hooked this up to my tablesaw and planer and it never bogged down. A solid performer.
Very Good For the Money January 25, 2007 Kofi Anim-Appiah (Allen, TX United States) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I have one of these (not exactly, but I bought one from Homier and it looks like the exact same thing but brown in color). Have had it for almost 5 years hooked up to a Ryobi BT3000 and it has worked well and flawlessly. Not very loud and sucks well (this is a good thing!). Easily worth the money! Recommended!

Pretty Good thus far December 27, 2005 Michael Janowiak (Normal, IL USA) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I just bought this machine. Has about 25% more power then my craftsman 5hp shop vac. So far it pulls just about all the dust I can throw at it from my table saw and miter saw which is notorious for spraying dust everywhere.
Not as loud as my shopvac and much smoother at pulling in the dust, plus as the bag fills up it still pulls in consistent pressure whereas my shop vac even with a drywall bag still clogs up. I haven't used any other collectors but this one is good for individuals who have a small shop.
I wasn't crazy about the way its put together. When the instructions say its from China...clearly from the bolts and assembly its definitely made in China. It is very solid after construction but we'll see how long it holds up with vibration and dust etc.
