| Customer Reviews: awesome nail gun March 13, 2010 K. Barney (san bernardino ca, usa) I have two of these and love them, very consistent drive depth, good feed system very durable, I have had no problems for appx 5 years of service and would highly reccomend this nail gun.
I also like that there made in japan and not china or tiawan which seem to be more problem prone and usally junk.
I do have the comprable senco model as well and it been decent but have had to replace a couple drivers and the feed system doesn't work as well.
Product Recalled March 12, 2010 O&A Listener WARNING - This nailer has been recalled due to reports of side-ejection of the nails, in some cases causing partial blindness
buy the NR 90AC3 July 1, 2007 Clark G. Tiumalu (hayward, ca) i purchased this gun about 3 years ago from amazon, and originally rated it 5 stars. this gun is very fast, if it doesn't jam! the nail coils are rapped backwards, and if the coil is the least bit mis-shaped it's gonna get stuck. it is very top heavy. no lumber supplier stocks nails for this model. everything is special ordered. i switched to the hitachi NR 90AC3 and it may not hold a couple hundred nails, but i can buy the nails anywhere. if this gun does jam it just needs a little oil. this gun saves me more time than the coil nailer just cause it always works when i need it.
Hitachi Coil Framer July 22, 2006 Tyler Davidson (St. Clair Shores, MI) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the most versitile nail gun I've ever used. It shoots 16d, 8d, and 7d Galvanized nails! No need to switch guns for different projects. Only problem is that it's a little front heavy. But you'll find yourself wondering if you'll ever run out of nails.
great tool December 8, 2005 Joshua Lee Briggs I am a contractor an build a lot of decks this gun is a life saver galv. coil nails are a little high priced but worth every penny, it seems like with stick nailers you are always out of nails but with this gun you can shoot all day, only problem is you get a little more double fireing with this gun, overall very happy. you need this gun
