This is a replacement for an old 16 gallon vac that owned for years. This new model is MUCH quieter, and more powerful. I really like the bag feature also.

I purchased this item to handle a recently purchased planar. While the shop vac is a good vac it is not able to handle the planar. If you try to use the paper bag it gets clogged up. But it will work if you ditch the bag.
For other uses, like cleaning up the wood shop, it works very well. I have not tried it on a wet cleanup.
I love all the attachments that come with it as some of the other vacuum cleaners you have to purchase the accessories extra, which of course cost as much as the vacuum.

As many have written, this product is useless if it does not contain all the attachment listed within the description and pictures. It is irrelevant if the unit is shipped by the manufacturer, drop shipped from a 3rd party or shipped from the Amazon warehouses across the country. This is a purchase you DO NOT WANT TO MAKE. However, if you enjoy nothing but time, this might be fun, you can call amazon, call your credit card company to dispute the purchase....all fun wasted time.
Mine shipment was lest wheels and all attachments besides the two large tubes identified within the picture. Maybe I should keep it after all and I can consider my vacuuming tasks a work-out while I carry the unit during my tasks....wait...scratch that...it lacks a handle!
I have not tried the product but my as I have concluded the product is not worth the purchase if it is unuseable as packaged. Another disappointing Amazon purchase within a month.

I was looking to buy a Dayton brand vacuum until I saw the price. The one I was looking at was 6.5 hp and had vacuum scfm of 210. This vacuum for less than half the price is 6.25 hp and scfm of 190. I'll trade 20 scfm for $120 any day. Excellent vacuum. Only negative is that it doesn't come with the bagless filter for wet/dry. Had to spend an additional $20 on the bagless option accessories. Overall excellent deal either way. Drain on bottom of canister and really long hose are great features too. Can leave vac in other room while vaccing bedrooms (residential).
