exactly as ordered November 14, 2009 Stephen Burns (chicago) order arrived in three days....super saver. saved $4.50 per box over the large chain stores.
Great nails November 5, 2009 Spuds Bensen These are great flooring nails. I bought a Ramsond flooring nailer and these nails worked flawlessly with it ($150@ebay). They load easy and we've only had one jam. (may have been operator error) I was able to take the nailer apart and pull the fragmented nails out. They're a little soft, which makes setting them difficult, but the teeth on the nails get a good bite. I've laid about 900 sq ft of flooring and haven't had but a few squeaks which were remedied by screws from below the subfloor and top nailing.
Generally, I'm putting the nails 6"-8" apart with a minimum of 3 nails per board. They lay a tight floor and the nails and nailer are able to pull boards that aren't true in straight and hold them. I've only had a few boxes with separated rows in them. They still load fine and fire fine.
Shipping Care October 14, 2009 Stephanie R. Sanders (Iowa) The L-nails were received in a timely manner but the packing was less than desireable. The nails were broken apart into small sections so it was more time consuming to load the nailer.
Used on Brazilian cherry October 10, 2009 R. Schmidt (Downingtown, PA) I used these nails in a Porter Cable FCN200 pneumatic floor nailer to lay 3/4 inch Brazilian cherry. Brazilian cherry is twice as hard as red oak and this set up worked great. We had no jams or misfired/bent nails.
Nailed September 12, 2009 T. Hamel (Morgan Hill, CA USA) After driving more than 20,000 of these puppies into hard maple flooring with a manual Bostitch floor nailer and never once having a nail bend or jam, I can without reservation say these Bostitch nails are far superior to Brand X nails.
