3 out of 5 stars Great portable, but not the best book light   November 16, 2008
This is a very lightweight reading light which wraps and snaps into itself, making it convenient to throw into a purse or travel bag. The on/off switch won't turn on due to jostling around in your bag, either. This is not my favorite reading lamp, however, since the clear area for the light illumination is also on the sides, not just the end of the lamp. This makes the light glare out on those around you instead of focusing only on your book. I prefer a more focused style lamp for home use.

5 out of 5 stars Very good light.   November 13, 2008
It's pretty bright, and the neck is flexible. Lighter and easier to maneuver than a lot of others.

3 out of 5 stars GODD WHILE IT LASTS   August 29, 2008
This is a good little book light but battery ran out very quickly. It also is not that sturdy. One of them I ordered broke apart the next day

4 out of 5 stars Great reading light   July 30, 2008

I've had several useless reading lights (too heavy, poor light) but this one is great. Lightweight, illuminates both pages at once.

2 out of 5 stars Poor Light   June 23, 2008
If you are over 40 and your eyesight is "not as good as it used to be", then think twice about this reading lamp. It barely emits enough light to fully illuminate the entirety of a small paperback, let alone a full-sized hardback book. I found myself juggling with the light when I got to the bottom of the page. A hassle!
