Product Description
The Vniti (Ven-net-tee) FIE Electric Epee is the only black blade. Its unique hilt with more weight closer to the bell guard and a wide V pattern make this blade a parry reposte masters dream. This almost indistructable FIE approved blade is made of Maraging Steel with an additional ingrediant - Vanadium. NOW WITH FULL LENGTH TANG

I've used two Vniti FIE blades Epee Blade - Vniti FIE Bare Electric twice a week for a month. They haven't needed straightening and have taken just a slight, desirable bend. I've also noticed they are not very susceptible to rust, and while there are some marks on the edges, they haven't developed stress risers (sharp nicks). That may have something to do with their reputation for durability.

This is just an interim report, but I'm happy so far.
9Oct08--I use a French grip. The handle, with a hard plastic core, broke, and with it the tang. I'm inclined to blame the handle.

If your looking for a blade that will last, then Vniti blades are it! I used to love using the Uhlmann BF blades but they never could last more than a few seasons of practice and competition before breaking. However,I have yet to break any of my Vniti blades(three years). I know I am a bit rough with my weapons since I use them for competition, practice, and lessons at least three times a week or more. I was so impressed with the blades I even switched to the Vniti bell guarde, which haven't even dented yet with 2 seasons use!!!
