Capezio's "Cobra" canvas split-sole ballet slipper has a brushed canvas upper and soft brushed lining. This shoe features a suede sole patch, elastic drawstring and elastics that are pre-attached at the heel. The suede sole patch has a unique construction that conceals the stitching.

I bought these slippers as a Christmas present for my sister. I was really disappointed in the condition that the slippers arrived in. The box was so crushed either from insufficient packaging protection during shipping or they were plucked from inventory in that condition. In either case, I couldn't wrap the box and had to throw the slippers in a gift bag. Since Capezio is a good brand for ballet slippers, it would have been nice to have given her the gift in the box.

i wear them a bit(way)too much so they wear kinda quick, but for being cloth and getting worn outside (only when it's dry out)i guess they hold up pretty well.
the only part i had a problem with was finding the correct glue to hold the "elastic" on, only one side is attatched so they can be better fit to the dancer.
i can't complain, i own four pair now.

I purchased these shoes because I've always trusted capezio but the shoes just do not hold up well at all. I use them twice a week and have for the last 5 weeks and they already look awful like i've had them for years. The gathering on the bottom is beginning to come undone already too. I would suggest looking for a better model of shoe.

I dance in a University company and my shoes were looking a little worn out; so, I decided to order these for class purposes only. I wear a 7 in street shoe size and ordered a 7. They did fit in that way. I have a slender foot I suppose, because even after tightening my elastics they were still too wide (slightly). It is still a nice shoe for class and the other elastics i just tie in a knot and wrap around my foot.

I was fairly pleased with this product. I had not tried ANY canvas Ballet Shoe. The shoe was as it represented itself to be, and I am glad I tried it.
