Good for crazy dog December 17, 2007
I have a dog that LOVES to pull, so my back and I have really been serious about getting some relief. I was at Canfields in Omaha and happened upon this little gadget that seems to be a bungie cord in an outer covering. I don't know what it is, but so far it's been a positive addition to my walking routine. When she blasts forward I don't get that jarring feeling, which is always welcome. The only downside is that you can't gauge how far the leash might extend, so if your dog likes chasing cars, watch out. It's going to take some getting used to. I also have another leash that I like that has a handle next to the fastener. This is wonderful because when she goes ballistic, I can get control without losing fingers. Granite Gear - think about adding one of those. I know that my dog probably needs obedience training but until then, this leash is a relief.
