This filter is billed on the site as "cyst reducing." It's the same type of filter that I've used in my refrigerator for the last 4 years, so maybe this feature has been added? Whatever the case, it arrived on time and was identical to the filter it replaced, so I was completely satisfied with the purchase.

It's a water filter. It works as expected.
Snug fit from the branded filter unlike some of the 3rd party replacement filters that aren't that much cheaper.
