Great Dog Crate August 13, 2008 This dog crate is wonderful for my 90 pound pit bull terrier. It is very sturdy and large enough for him to fit in comfortably. I would definitely recommend this crate to any large breed dog owners.
dog kennel June 13, 2008 Very nice product. I love the way that I can change the size and the way that it folds up if I want to put it away.
A nice surprise. May 14, 2008 A nice surprise. Have a 4 1/2 year old German Shorthair who has separation anxiety. Makes it tough to go out at night on dates. Digger took to the cage very well. I located it so that he can see me when I work in my office or sit and watch TV or read. With the window open he can watch for squirrels, possums, and other critters.
Very surprised that when I lock him in when I go out he doesn't tear up the bedding and only starts crying when he hear's the gate open when I return. When I sleep at night or lock the door when I'm home he doesn't mind. It's like his little den. Whenever I let him in from the yard or a walk he immediately goes in his cage. He's adapted very quickly and loves it.
When I go out of town on the weekends I take him with me and he stays in the cage at relatives houses. Makes life a lot easier.
Sturdy but very heavy and not so easy to break down or set up. An inch less in width would make it easier to get through doorways. Half the time I don't break it down, just put it on a hand truck and roll it out to my truck.
A second door or reversible door would be nice, but I give it an honest four stars. It should last a long time. Cleaning the plastic tray with just water always leaves grayish smudges, but the pads cover it so it's not too bad. Overall a very good buy.
Very noisy crate April 10, 2008 This serves the purpose and it pretty well priced. I have to agree with another writer that it is extremely noisy when it moves around on the tray. Somehow, the pup is also able to push the tray out from the bottom of the cage as well which is terrible when it eliminates on your hardwood floors. I've had to prop something against the door of the crate to keep it from continuously happening.
Great crate March 4, 2008 This is a very good crate. It is very easy to assemble. It is very sturdy. This crate is by far the best one for the money. The tray/pan is easily removed for cleaning.
