Python No Spill Clean and Fill November 12, 2008 This item is great I don't know I got by without it.It saves so much time and does a excellent job. All with 1 item I can clean the tank and add new water with no mess and not carrying any heavy buckets. I highly recommend this item
Greatly appreciated September 10, 2008 If the creator of this product is sitting on a beach somewhere on an island, rich and happy, that is exactly where he or she deserves to be. This product makes a hobby a hobby and not a job. Less mess, less time, less aches, less buckets. Well worth the money. The only way to make this product better would be to somehow incorporate a built in thermometer so you can regulate your hot/cold water ratio to acheive the same temp as the water in the tank. I wonder if there is some type of hi-tech faucet with a lcd temp readout but thats another story. As far as the python goes, get it. Always take advantage of win-win situations.
An absolute MUST-HAVE for anyone with an aquarium! August 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I started off with a 10 gallon fish tank, and sure enough I made my water changes by carrying buckets. It was painful. Upgraded to a 20 gallon, 30 gallon, I was about to cry whenever a water change was due.
I purchased a "Python No Spill Clean and Fill" vacuum, and and I was amazed at how easy it was to do water changes. All I had to do is attach the adapter to my faucet, drain the water out, put water conditioner in the tank, and fill it back up. No spills ever, no backaches, super fast, I loved it so much I finally became brave enough to purchase a large 90 gallon aquarium because I knew I could handle it with my pretty Python.
I used the python to fill up the tank as well, and now looking back, water changes in the 90 gallon tank are 200 times easier than water changes in my old 10 gallon, and 200 times quicker as well. Recommended to anyone!
Very useful June 30, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought it a week ago. It is amazing. You will never go back to the bucket practice. I wonder how long will the pump last, since it is made of plastic, specially if you plug it and unplug it every time you use it. I plugged it permanently to a garden hose with one of those connectors that facilitate plugging and unplugging. Hope that will make it last much longer. You can also make your own python using a waterbed fill and drain device, some tubing, a valve and a gravel filter. But perhaps it is not worth the hassle (depending on your budget and entreprenourship).
Lives up to the hype March 7, 2008 I'm adding my name to the list of people that adore this product. I just cleaned and refilled my tank in fifteen minutes! That process used to take an hour. I'm actually looking forward to changing the water again next week, to show off to my skeptical husband that this product was worth every penny.
