Excellent March 8, 2010 Clare Z (UT) This is made of soft rubber, easy on dog's gum. Easy to fly. Bought pricy ones from local store but did not last one, but this one could be lasted longer for sure (used for 2 months already).
My dog loves it March 4, 2010 Gabbie (San Diego) But maybe a little too much. I have to be sure to take it away when we are done playing, because he will chew it and damage it. It is not the same tough material the Kongs are made from. It is also quite flexible which makes it easier for him to pick up, but does not make it easier to control.
Not as durable as other Kong products February 12, 2010 Jess I had gotten this for our Lab and while admittedly he is pretty rough on toys, he managed to tear the side within 5 minutes of playing with it. It's still fully functional and we'll continue to use it however I would recommend supervised play.
He hasn't torn it to pieces February 11, 2010 Scri8e (CA) The last 3 frisbees I bought for my Field Spaniel Bentley he made short work of. Shredding them to frisbee bits in no time flat. This kong frisbee doesn't have a tooth mark on it. It's hard for him to pick up if I throw it right side up though. So I throw it upside down and he can pick it up without a challenge.
Bentley is 1 year old and this is the first frisbee that has lasted long enough for him to begin to master catching it in mid air. I'm thrilled!
About what I expected; February 10, 2010 Inbtwen (Indiana) After owning a few Kong toys, which are great, I thought I would take a chance with this Kong Flyer. Well its ok but doesn't fly well for me, just really dull. Kind of just hits the ground and rolls, and its also on the heavy side. My pet does go nuts over it though. Thanks.
