Amazon.com Review With his wide bemused grin, the gnomelike creature on Carruth Studio's Garden Smile Plaque will add a touch of whimsy and delight to your garden, porch, or patio. American sculptor George Carruth explains, "My desire is to provide original designs that plant a smile on your face." Cast from an original design by Carruth Studio, the plaque is made of stone concrete and will keep smiling season after season. The plaque, sure to be a conversation piece, has been crafted with witty details, from the curled edges of the leaves around the gnome's face to the tiny ladybug perched on his cheek.
Product Description The Garden Smile is a unique and whimsical work of art. Perfect decorative accent piece for any indoor or outdoor setting. It will create character and movement to any landscape design and will bring a smile to all that sees it.

Garden friend, gentle spirit April 25, 2002 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I purchased this smile some time ago and hung it on a tree in my backyard garden. I call him "the Green Man" and have trained my young granddaughters to wink at the Green Man whenever they come into the garden. He is developing a wonderful patina and is coming to look like a natural outgrowth of the lichen. It is nice having such a gentle spirit watching over my plants.
