Keep the water in that outdoor fountain, landscape water feature, or fish pond crystal clear with the innovative Vorton Ultraviolet Clarifier from Cyprio. Designed with a special dome-shape quartz glass conduit that allows 87 percent of algae-killing UV rays to pass through the water, the Vorton Clarifier consistently takes the murk out of ponds up to 500 gallons in volume. Unlike conventional submersible clarifiers, the Vorton UV clarifier operates outside the pond for easier access. Water is pumped through the device and rotates around an ultraviolet lamp for even and maximum exposure to cleansing rays. A venting device keeps the lamp at optimal operating temperature and minimizes condensation for effective UV emission. Both the water inlet and the water outlet are multidirectional, rotating 360 degrees to simplify setup. And, quick-connect, stepped-tail connectors make it easy to attach and detach the water lines. Hose fittings glow softly from the internal lighting mechanism during operation to indicate that the Vorton is running smoothly. A detachable mounting bracket lets the UV unclip from its mounting bracket for quick and simple maintenance. An included multi-directional adapter fits all 3/4-inch, 1-inch, 1-1/4-inch, and 1-1/2-inch hoses. Water should pass through a biological filter (sold separately) before reentering the pond.
