Amazon.com Review With charming architecture inspired by rural Connecticut, this Country Nests birdhouse is a welcoming sanctuary for local birdlife. Its wood construction is designed for durability, aesthetics, and resistance to the elements. Birds enter through a discreet opening under one of the eaves, while a wrap-around porch and dual dormers provide ample perching surface. Country Nests makes the birdhouse by hand to exacting standards, attending to its features with impressive detail. In addition to slatted sides and a shingled roof, the house includes a real stone chimney, divided windowpanes, a stack of firewood, decorative flowerpots, and a rocker by the front door. An ideal combination of the functional and whimsical, the piece comes with a mounting plate and all necessary hardware. It measures 12 inches square at the base, and stands approximately 13-1/2 inches high. --Emily Bedard

Birdhouse review April 13, 2007 We purchased this product as a gift and were quite please with the quality and workmanship. The recepient loved it and wanted to know where we purchased it so they could buy more.
You'd think it was built to be INSIDE! June 6, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Very nice out of the box. Put it up last season, it went through one winter (I'm in Michigan) and now its faded and the shingles are falling off. You'd think it was built to be INSIDE!
