Really quite excellent November 20, 2009

Did you ever want to give someone you cell phone number (or worse your e-mail address), and you wait while they look around unsuccessfully for a pen or a piece of paper to write it down on (or worse, it's you looking for the pen or piece of paper)? Well, you can now end that situation quite easily. Using just about any word processor, and a color printer, you can use this Avery card stock to make attractive and extremely useful cards that contain as much or as little information as you would like. Then, drop them into your purse or wallet, and you are all set.
This card stock is really quite excellent, being firm, but not too stiff to go through your home printer. It breaks apart cleanly, to produce a card that does not need to be trimmed, and it hold the image you put on it quite nicely. This is a surprisingly useful thing, and you will impress people when you can instantly whip out a card with just the right information on it. I quite like them.

These cards are great!. Super clean and smooth edges,and really easy to separate. The cards look like they were printed by a professional print shop rather than at home. I use a HP Officejet, and they worked great with it. I recommend them without reservations!

Avery wasn't kidding when they named these business cards Clean Edge. They really break off with clean edges and it's so easy, too. The quality of the paper is superb and I printed with an ordinary inkjet printer and there were no smears or streaks. The sheet will tell you how to load in the paper and how to break off the cards. They also include instructions on how to download free software from Avery and the website also has a lot of templates for business cards and other projects. Avery is really awesome for business and creative needs!

I was very impressed with the quality of these cards. They print well and easily, even on my old Canon S630 inkjet, break apart easily, leave very clean edges, and can be printed on both sides.
I used a whole pack testing, and did not have a single problem, paper jam, or misprint. The paper holds the ink nicely, and is of a high quality. The edges of the cards are far more smooth than earlier Avery stock, and there are no rough spots or hanging bits of fiber after separating the cards.
While there are those who advise against printing your own cards instead of having them professionally printed, I would say that the flexibility and functionality of using these cards far outweighs any negative. Anyone who judges a person based on whether they have professionally printed business cards or not will be easily misled anyway. Best to avoid doing business with someone like that.
I recommend these and will use them again myself.

These cards are going to be largely what you make of them -- Do a nice job designing the your card and you'll get a nice card. They do not look quite as nice as professional business cards... But they are far cheaper. Perfect for a small business or individual who only needs a few cards.
