If it wasn't for the warranty, I could have been stuck with a defective screen. Amazon was very good about getting a replacement out. I received the replacement promptly and have been very happy every since.

I feel the 2 year extended warranty is a good thing to purchase when you buy the Kindle. I haven't had to use it and hopefully I won't need to but in the case I do I hope it is easy to use!

If you have purchased a kindle or thinking about it then please get the warranty. TO purchase something so expensive and not have something to cover it is not smart. The kindle is sleek and worth every penny but it can drop if you do nto have the cover on it. It is just like purchasing a cell phone, washer/dryer, Ipod, or anything else to that nature. You should want protectiion over it. I am glad that I did; I almost dropped my kindle after opening it.

The warranty is an excellent product. Electronic items can go out even if they are brand new so an extra 2 years is great. I bought the Kindle and warranty for my daughter. She has always loved to read and she has already downloaded 5 books in a month. She says it is so easy to use and she loves it.

I haven't had to use this insurance but my sister did and they replaced her kindle without any problems. Good to have.
