I'm not even going to bother talking about the features on this thing. The fact that Brother has the nerve to sell a unit without including the proprietary AC adaptor is bad enough in itself to warrant 1 star. Buyer beware: you buy this, you'll spend on batteries what you saved on the label maker.

We purchased this product to organize our kitchen. We have lots of Zip Lock twist-top containers in the kitchen, and things were getting a little bit too confusing in there. We saw some cheaper label printers, but we picked this product because this one can store info about your labels (font, letter size, margin, and so on). This allows you to create all your labels in the same format. Also, it's very easy to use. I didn't really have to read the owner's manual.

I gave this unit three stars because the first one I received was defective. Now that I have one that works, it works great. My only complaint is that there is so much tape wasted when you print.

I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN, IN FACT I PURCHASED ONE FOR MY DAUGHTER-IN-LAWS MOM FOR CHRISTMAS 2009, SHE IS AN AVID SCRAPBOOKER.
