I can print again February 21, 2010 Lynda Gentilcore The purchase of ink for our Epson printer easy and arrived before we run out. I arppreciate Amazons pricing and promptness
As advertised February 19, 2010 J. Smith These cartridges are as advertised.
Well sealed packages keep them fresh.
They work in my Epson printer perfectly.
It is up to me to print sparingly.
My only disappointment is that if I turn the printer off for long,
then I need to waste ink to clean the print nozzles.
When I leave the printer on, the nozzles don't clog.
I have not figured out the economics of leaving the power on versus cleaning the print nozzles.
Works just fine February 11, 2010 N. Keliher (Lowell, MA USA) I got this for my Epson R220 and use it to print greyscale documents at home. I popped it in and was able to print right away. I'm not sure how many pages I'll get from it but I don't do a lot of printing so it works fine for my needs.
Inky February 1, 2010 S. Roomian (Upstate NY) When I create a document on my computer and hit "print", words appear on a plain sheet of paper!
Seriously, I tried generic ink in one of my printers and it practically ruined it. Now I use manufacturers ink exclusivly for all my printers.
Does what it is supposed to do but not very well January 22, 2010 DW (LA, CA) Pros:
1. It's black ink, and it prints black.
2. It's compatible with the Epson printers, being an Epson cartridge.
3. It's easy to change the cartridge.
Cons:
1. Epson can leave a lot of ink in the cartridge when it declares that the cartridge must be changed.
2. Epson designed this ink to favor it's "vividness" over longevity. The inks are water soluble. So if you spill your coffee on the page, the inks run everywhere. If you were to take a photo to a very humid environment, the same thing would happen. The pages don't last long.
3. The ink bleeds terribly on plain paper resulting in a very blurry print. It's obviously not a laserjet but still very blurry for an inkjet.
4. Printing a photo is expensive compared to online or local print shops. This is generally true of all inkjets compared to Snapfish, Walgreens, Flickr, CVS, etc.
I would not have bought the printer in the first place had I know Con #2, but, as long as I have it, this is the ink to buy.
