The WORST! August 2, 2009 R. Steele (Southfield, MI) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have used several brands of t-shirt transfers, these are the absolute worst I have ever come across. They will leave a BRIGHT white background on any shirt. Even on a white t-shirt you can see the difference in the background! And HP advertises these as for use on colored shirts, AND goes so far as to show them put on color shirts -- and there is no white background, even though it would have been impossible to do this with these transfers. I guess they showed silk-screened shirts on the covers, or used transfers by a different company?? UNBELIEVABLE. I will never buy another HP product of any sort ever again.
Indestructible Transfer Medium May 22, 2009 Mary Peacock (Vaughn, WA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Using the HP Iron-on Transfer medium is incredibly easy. The adhesion is strong, and it's durable through many washings. I've tested laminations in petroleum contaminated environments, and even left it soaking in straight gasoline - no noticeable deterioration, not even any change in color. Amazing stuff.HP Q1974A Iron-on Transfers for Color Fabrics (8.5x11, 6 Sheets)
I use an inkjet printer. If I printed the same image on paper it would run when I poured water on it, but print it on this stuff and it's there forever.
Craftspeople, this stuff is a great way to make your own fabric labels. I use a somewhat heavy Pellon interfacing. I compose the labels in a program like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, adding faint dashed cut lines between labels, then, after laminating, I cut the labels apart on a paper cutter, and voila! a bunch of great looking sew-in labels for your products. I use a really old heavy iron with a solid plate. Look for one in second hand shops. It makes the job quicker.
Easy April 18, 2009 Crosstree (United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This product is easy to use and works very well. I copied pictures of our dog and put them on t-shirts just for fun, and found the process very simple. They wash up well and if you follow the directions (i.e. turn inside out to wash, remove immediately and then simply place in the dryer) there was no problem. I will definitely use again.
These work! April 6, 2009 M. Garber (Missouri) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I must admit, I was quite nervous when I ordered these. I'm having a destination wedding in 2 weeks and wanted to make fun tshirts as favors for the wedding party.
Turns out I was nervous for nothing. They printed up real nice (I used powerpoint to make the designs, printed 2 slides per page.) They were super simple to iron on. I think it took about a half hour to do 8, and they look fantastic. These really do work well on colored shirts!

I have made adorable tees and aprons for the whole family with these transfers. Easy instructions!
