| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description Bo Diddley recently left us after 80 years offering up The Beat. With a career of 50+ years, Bo gave us what will forever be known as the Bo Diddley beat. His music was covered on early Buddy Holly and Rolling Stones albums and his influence continues to this day. There have been a handful of live albums released over the years but none are easily available until now. Turn up the House Lights was recorded at the Transmusicales Festival in Rennes, France, in 1989. On this occasion Bo had a fabulous backing band - Barrence Whitfield's Savages. 12 live classics and an interview with the man himself.
