Each album in this five part series offers an elegant, sophisticated smooth jazz sound that has the relaxing effect of a glass of fine wine. The second volume in the series introduces talented pianist Stanfield Bukowski. Growing up in a musical household, the piano is only one of seven instruments Bukowski can play. He likes piano best because he thinks it is the most diverse. "The piano has a range of styles as wide as the color of its keys; from black to white, with all the colors in between, there is something for everyone," said Bukowski. The genre he likes the best for his piano, however, is jazz. Smooth Jazz Piano Classics Volume Two displays Bukowski's remarkable musical ear at just one of his seven instruments. The fact that he selected to record the piano over all the others assumes that it is worth listening to. Bukowski recorded this album in December of 2007. He offers delicate and dignified songs on every track.
