Tales from the Swift

To me, the best moments on this album come from the Female rapper, Alisha Tyler. IMO she's the tightest of the two, with a real mix of skills reminiscent of the Lady of Rage and other west coast female MC's, dropping lyrical hits left and right rapid fire... Every time she steps to the mic you can expect something tight,yet representing Jesus Christ and salvation to the fullest. Chris is a lot more laid back in his presentation, lyrics dropping at a slower pace, but still represents. There's also a real cool praise and worship type song called "Praize God", which has Chris coming with a straight-out-of-Jamaica dancehall reggae style which is surprisingly authentic-that's a great song that lifts up the Lord. This is a good album to play in your car...it's a little outdated in some areas, with a real 90's sound at times, but it's a great christian rap album. Most importantly-A lot of people say some christian rap artists don't mention Jesus enough in their lyrics...that is NOT the case with A-1 Swift. They are very explicit in their mentioning of the Word of God and the name of Jesus, there's no mistaking what they're rapping about. If you like the west coast rap sound, or want to reach out to someone who is down with the music of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, give them this CD

I absolutely love all their music but especially Tales From the Swift. My favorite song is Get Loose and The Formula. And it's not just for teens and young adults. I remember playing it in my room and my mom (who's 47) started dancing to it (I haven't seen my CD after that). So if you like music with a strong beat and positive lyrics this is the CD for you. Many are called but few are chosen as the bible say's in matthew.There are a whole lot of christian/gospel musicians around today,but I can truly testify that A-1 swift are really chosen of God to do his work.That is spreading the word of God with positive lyric's to the world. I heard the tales from the swift in 1998 in Ghana(Africa),I was by then a young christian/gospel presenter at Otec F.M(kumasi) and I played one of the numbers,that was Dont you cry is gonna be alright not knowing that a brother was sick at the hospital,as soon as the music touched the brother he was healed. Another sister by then also gave her life to Jesus when he heard A-1 swift music.There were a lot of uncountable miracles that God perform through A-1 swift's(the tales from the swift).I personally also filled the same way any time I heard (drop the bom) made me prayed more.I have been to all the c.d shopes in Holland and still not finding A-1 swift album(the tales from the swift).It is now my daily prayer that God will touched them to bless us again with their powerful anointed words for souls are dieing. I would be glad to know where to get this album again because its full of anointing and I also believe that any one who hear's this album's life will never be the same.

I'M A NEW MAN THE OLD HAS PAST AWAY AND HEY!!! YO THIS ALBUM IS A BLESSING FOR ALL THOSE COMING OUT OF THE SECULAR HIP HOP WORLD LIKE MYSELF. CHRIS AND ALISHA DEFINITELY REPRESENTS GOD'S PEOPLE TO THE FULLEST. FROM START TO FINISH THE TRACKS ARE TIGHT AND THE LYRICS TESTIFY AND GLORIFY GOD'S GRACE. THE GOSPEL LADY COMES CORRECT EVERYTIME SHE OPENS HER MOUTH. CHRIS KEEPS YOU THINKING WITH THAT WEST COAST TYPE OF APPEAL LYRICS. THOSE WHO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE SINFUL NATURE HAVE THEIR MINDS SET ON WHAT THAT NATURE DESIRES; BUT THOSE WHO LIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPIRIT HAVE THEIR MINDS SET ON WHAT THE SPIRIT DESIRES. THE MIND OF THE SINFUL MAN IS DEATH, BUT THE MIND CONTROLLED BY THE SPIRIT IS LIFE AND PEACE...! A1 SWIFT MIND, IS NO DOUBT, CONTROLLED BY THE SPIRIT!
