This is delicious bubble-gum dance music from one of Miami's biggest male artists. A Florida native, Stevie B became one of the early leaders of freestyle music with the breakout hit "Party Your Body" in 1988, followed by increasingly successful songs such as "I Wanna Be the One" and "Love Me for Life." Stevie also set himself apart from the pack by writing and producing his own music, which was very rare for an '80s dance star. The hits stopped coming in the '90s, though Stevie B continues to record and, as this collection shows, has already left a swooningly romantic--and infinitely danceable--legacy. --John Sanchez

Stevie B. was a Freestyle pioneer. From the beginning his music was just "good"...Always danceable, and man, did the ladies love his music or what! His hits are a staple in every serious Latin freestyle fan's collection...songs like "party your body", "In my eyes" and his most popular song of them all "Spring Love" were and still are dancefloor fav's. He did show his range a bit also with "Because I love you" which was Stevie B's only number 1 song. His music was always full of energy and served well for many a dance routine back in the day...I seen him 3 times in concert and he was always entertaining. 'Dreamin'of Love" and I "wanna be the one" were also dancefloor hits...but Honestly after these songs, all others are just fillers which makes me rate it as a 4 instead of a 5...although Stevie B.'s contribution to the Latin Freestyle genre was very valuable...pick this CD up and you'll have a great idea of what Latin Fereestyle is all about...

Stevie B. had a great impact in my life. I remember times when we use to chase girls and blast some Stevie B. in the Camero at loud volume and get stopped by the cops.
"Party Your Body" is the best dance song ever.
"In My Eyes" has one of the best dance beats
Stevie B will never be forgoten.

Stevie B is one of my favorite singers and Freestyle Music is and will always be one of the best Dance Music scenes. All the songs in this Album are great, Spring Love is my favorite... From Miami to New York to Europe Freestyle lives !!!
