Very Sweet July 15, 2008 Lovely, sweet versions of standards as well as original material. Some are purely instrumental while others have vocals. Cool jazz similar to Kenny G at times or some are more latin-flavored like Brazilian jazz. Very sweet, silky music good for dinner accompaniment or a sweet summer evening spent with your lover. My favorite is her breathy, feathery version of "Besame Mucho". It's done so sweetly it's sure to incite some more kissing. Enjoy!
great music June 25, 2008 Loved Jesse J's sax playing the first time I heard "Tequila Moon" on a local jazz station. I had to have that song for my colection. The rest of the album did not disappoint. Hope she produces another album soon.

Perhaps I'm uninformed but when I think of "latin or spanish" music I instantly think of salsa, cha cha and the like. Mostly they comprise of upbeat melodies that coax you into a desire to follow the rhythm and dance. This album however sounds more like jazz standards that spainish inspired or intertwined music. While she is talented as far as the ability to play the sax, the originality and spice to the music is lacking...except for the first two tracks the rest is elevator music at best.
Hot new artist fusing jazz and samba! May 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Jessy brings a fresh new approach to the classics like Sin Ti along with originals like Tequila Moon her hot new single. My Brother and I had the pleasure of working with Jessy on video profile for a radio station in LA and found her to be delight to be around. She's bright and talented and has a great sense of humor. Check out the video interview along with her performance of Tequila Moon [...] I love this CD and would recommend it to anyone who loves jazz with a latin flare.....even my 70 year old Father enjoyed it and can't wait to tell his friend about Jessy's version of Sin Ti....now that's music that appeals to all ages!
Absolutely brilliant ! May 4, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
One of my favorite smooth jazz albums by far.
Listen to "Mas Que Nada", "Fiesta Velada" and "Spanish Nights".
It'll probably give you a clean idea of the album in brief.
Cheers
