Product Description
First Motley Crue album with all original four members in over a DECADE!

Album Description
Explicit Version. 2008 is great with Vince, Nikki, Tommy & Mick of Motley Crue, our rock'n'roll Saints of Los Angeles. The band created CrueFest which is five bands, one colossal show and a trail of panties from coast to coast featuring Moetley Cruee, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx: A.M., and Trapt, plus the Rock Band second stage experience, CRUeE FEST is sure to upset neighbors and blow out eardrums across the nation. The single 'Saints Of Los Angeles' features vocals of Josh Todd (Buckcherry), Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), James Michael (Sixx:A.M.) and Chris Taylor Brown (Trapt).

4 out of 5 stars Very Nice Return   August 24, 2008
The title track of the album delivers! The album is very strong and the old Cruee is back. Not my favorite but I recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Tied for best overall Neil Crue album. The Corabi album is still better, though.   August 19, 2008

I'm sure I'll take a few negative feedback remarks for what I said about the Corabi album, but screw it. It's how I feel. Having said that...

I've written about Motley Crue a lot. I'm also on record that saying that the Crue's best record is the one they made without Vince Neil - the John Corabi record from 1994. I still believe that, but I have to admit, Saints of Los Angeles is up there. It surprised the heck out of me.

When Vince returned in the mid 90's, there were two really rather bad studio albums with him (Generation Swine & New Tattoo), and I really felt Crue was done from a studio standpoint. So it was with some trepidation that I heard they were doing a new studio album for 2008. When it got close, some entertainment website had the full album up for streaming. So I decided to give it a listen.

WOW! This is by far the best thing they've done in ages. It's not even funny. Really - that sounds like a joke, but it isn't. Saints of Los Angeles is probably right up there with Shout at the Devil for best album with Vince Neil. I still like the Corabi album better, but Los Angeles is QUITE good. There's no real filler tracks, which is a surprise. This is the point where I usually list a few tracks I like, but there isn't one I want to skip when I listen to it. Major thumbs up!

If you're a Motley Crue fan at all, I cannot recommend this highly enough.

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely metal   August 18, 2008

Amazing they can keep Mick propped up, but his guitar work is his best yet. Thicker riffs, all good stuff. Love the journey through life on Sunset Blvd. This is one of those albums where every track works!

4 out of 5 stars The Crue is rockin'!   August 16, 2008

This is probably the best Crue album since Dr. Feelgood. The title song is one of my favs (and my kids). Just Another Psycho, and Face Down In The Dirt are also jammin'! But Saints Of L.A. (the song) is the anthem they haven't had in years. It so suits them, as do most of the songs. Nikki Sixx is at his top form at song writing since Feelgood. The bass lines and drums are awesome and fit very well, and I can't complain about Mick's guitar work. And even my children (10,12,17) were all very impressed with the way Vince sounds. Chicks = Trouble is fun, and welcome to the machine ( I thought was a warped version of Floyd before I even heard) was once again a autobiographical view of the business as only the Crue can see it. A very honest album, that sounds the way the Crue should sound. I am ver addicted to it. I highly recommend it.
